6 STEPS TO TAKE IF YOU MEET A CAR ACCIDENT
The situation : A person on the road bumped you from the back. You are not injured but the person that bumped you is seriously injured.
1. ASK " ARE YOU OK?"
it is always polite to greet people that is under any pressure or situation with that question. furthermore, this allows you to know the physical well being of the person.
2. ENSURE HIM THAT HE NEED NOT PAY FOR THE BUMP OF YOUR CAR.
tell him nicely, " sir , you do not need to pay me anything. " after which you report this incident to the police to sue him.
3. TELL HIM THAT YOU WILL CLEAN UP THE MESS
this is done to waste his time for telling you that he requires a ambulance
4. ASK HIM IF HE NEEDS ANYTHING ELSE
please be mentally prepared here because the injured would usually, after getting into this step, shout " I NEED AN AMBULANCE ! "
5. CALL THE ROAD SWEEPER
do know their number as you never know when it will comes in handy. call those road sweepers to sweep the glasses shattered from the injured's car.
6. INFORM THE LTA ( LAND AND TRANSPORT AUTHORITY)
the manager or the director or whoever is in charge of the road will take over this accident from you.
